The Franklin Mint is a private mint founded in 1964 in Watta, Pennsylvania. In the 70s of the 20th century, this American mint produced beautifully designed and frosted relief proof coins for many countries. At numismatic fairs or online marketplaces, sets can still be purchased in their original packaging at a reasonable price.
